Abstract: This paper discusses the topological structure of the networked access guard patrol system and the technical requirements of each component, and looks forward to the functions that can be performed in the places and systems used in large-scale power plants.
I. Overview The access control system is also called the entrance and exit security control system. The patrol system is a function derived from the access control system for managers to regularly visit on a fixed route. The earliest smart access control system applications were limited to a few important places, such as airport apron, bank vault, military secrets department, main entrances of major companies, and important financial rooms, host rooms, and confidential rooms, etc. Monitoring has effectively increased the safety of these sites.
With the advancement of computer technology and network technology, the patrol system for access control has also experienced rapid development from small scale, simple information to large-scale and rich functions. Its application scope is also expanding and it has begun to be applied in large-scale industrial and mining enterprises.

2.1 The monitoring station is mainly based on screen displays and placed in monitoring centers such as centralized control rooms or guard duty rooms for use by monitoring personnel.
2.2 The system server is equivalent to an engineer workstation for system administrators to maintain the system, including system configuration changes, password settings and system expansion.
2.3 The database server is configured according to the system size, meets the data storage requirements of the system within a specified time and can be easily retrieved and queried.
2.4 The system network should adopt industrial Ethernet network, TCP/IP protocol to enhance its versatility.
2.5 The external interface device has a firewall isolation function, can transmit system signals externally, and can also receive external system information, for example, the closed-circuit industrial television system of the whole plant, the fire alarm system signal of the whole plant, used as the alarm or linkage of this system.
2.6 Area Controller For larger systems, the entire system can be divided into several areas managed by the area controller and connected to the center controller. When the system fails, for example, the main network is disconnected, the area controller can still maintain the normal of the area. Work without faults.
2.7 The controller generally manages 1 to 8 card readers and corresponding door locks, receives the card reader signals and sends them to the upper level, receives the higher-level controller signals to issue execution instructions, detects the line status and alarms.
2.8 Card readers and smart card smart cards are generally non-contact type. Cards have a unique code of the cardholder. Some card cards also have cardholder characteristics such as fingerprints. In addition to smart card information, readers can also have fingerprint and voice recognition capabilities.
2.9 The electronic door lock can be divided into electromagnetic type or electrical type according to the use type of the field door; according to different management levels, it can also have different functions of power off or power off lock.
2.10 The power supply should be very reliable, and uninterruptible power supply UPS should be used.
Third, in the power plant application prospect
3.1 Application places

3.1.2 patrolling places patrol card readers can use the same equipment and access control, set at each regular patrol point, the main should be:

3.2 The fire alarm linkage access control system shall be able to receive the fire alarm signal of the whole factory. When a fire alarm occurs, the door lock of the corresponding room will be automatically opened and alarm will be sent to the monitoring center.
3.3 All-factory closed-circuit industrial television linkage When an alarm occurs, the camera screen of the alarm location can be automatically launched on the central monitoring screen, enabling the central monitoring personnel to understand the situation on the spot.
3.4 Other functions
3.4.1 Dynamic Electronic Map The dynamic electronic map displays all access control inspection points on one-level or multi-level electronic maps. The status of each point can be dynamically displayed in real time, including normal, alarm, power failure, equipment failure, and disconnection. The administrator can perform edit confirmation of the authorization of each point, and can modify the password of the authorized person.
3.4.2 The query can query someone's actions on the relevant access patrol point within a certain time period, and can also query the condition of a certain access patrol point being moved within a set time period.
3.4.3 The data storage and tabulation system data storage time should not be less than one year, and specific event generation reports can be selected from the historical database as needed. Reports can be generated based on various conditions such as date, time, event type, cardholder or group of people.
IV. Conclusion At present, large-scale power plants, especially new large-capacity generating units and power plants, have a small number of personnel, and have a high level of automation. The networked intelligent access control patrol system can be combined with the existing plant-wide fire alarm system and the entire plant closed-circuit industrial television system to ensure safety management. To a new level, its promotion and application in large-scale power plants is just around the corner.
